Dear Parents and Guardians,
Music Teacher Update
We hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween, with many treats. It was certainly a fun-filled and joyous day yesterday.
As some of you may be aware, our music teacher , Mr. Resky, made the decision to pursue other areas of employment for his musical career. We thank him for his time and talent contribution to this school and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
We are currently interviewing candidates who have the background that meet our standards of academic excellence and community involvement. Please be assured this search is our top priority.
We thank you for your continued enthusiasm for this important cultural aspect of your child's education.
All Saints Day
Today is the Solemnity of All Saints. Our Second Graders are leading us in honoring all the saints. They have researched, designed an incredible outfit, and written a short speech about a special saint. These heroes of faith preserve in troubled times as they followed the path of Jesus. We are so proud of our second graders for making today extra special for our school community. Thank you to Monsignor McGuirl, Mrs. England, and Mrs. Starace for making this such a special day for our students.
The Book Fair is Here!
The OLMCA Book Fair begins next week! Join us as we take blast off into space with Kew and Willow. There are lots of fun activities planned including Special Persons’/Grandparents Day, Blastoff Bingo, and a Paint Party. Be sure to check our social media pages for a bedtime story with one of OLMCA’s 7th and 8th graders. We need volunteers…we need YOU! Volunteering at the Book Fair is the perfect way to stay connected to your child at school and help students find the books they can’t wait to read. Sign up now and get ready for a fun and rewarding volunteer experience. Contact Ms. Paz at [email protected] to see how you can help.
Halloween Candy Drive
The Girl Scout Troop #4587 (Juniors, Cadettes, and Seniors) are planning a Candy Drive for Operation Shoebox. Donate your unwanted Halloween candy by November 3rd at OLMCA or contact Clodine Hawkins at [email protected] for more information.
