Welcome New Students and Families!

Hello and a warm welcome from the educators at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Academy in Forest Hills, New York – in the heart of Queens, the World’s Borough. The information below is to explain how we will personally assist each of you and your children through this process. OLMCA holds an Open House to kick off Catholic Schools Week on the last Sunday of January.

Tour Dates are scheduled for: March 19th, April 9th and May 21st.

The Academy conducts safe and healthy in-person, full-day classroom learning and maintains the students-to-classroom size ratio as mandated by the New York State Department of Health. To plan for each grade’s safe capacity for the 2023-2024 school year and know of your child’s interest in our Academy, we ask that you submit the inquiry form linked below.

When we receive your completed form, we will contact you to arrange a convenient time to personally discuss with you how the Academy can meet your child’s individual educational needs and challenge their abilities. We will also personally assist you with the ADMISSIONS and REGISTRATION process. Thank you for your interest in considering Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Academy as an educational choice for your child. Registration Requirements (2023-2024)

Requirements for Kindergarten Registration:

  1. Birth certificate
  2. Baptismal Certificate (if it applies)
  3. Immunization Record
  4. Registration Fee (Non-refundable)
  5. New Physical
  6. Completed Registration Form
  7. Registration fee, per family: $300

Requirements for 3K and Pre-K For All Registration:

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Immunization Record
  3. New Physical
  4. Two Proofs of Address
  5. Confirmation of completed PKA Application processed online (Learn more at schools.nyc.gov.)

Requirements for Registration Grades 1-8:

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Baptismal Certificate (if it applies)
  3. Immunization Record
  4. Latest Report Card (Grades K-7)
  5. Registration Fee (Non-refundable)
  6. New Physical
  7. Completed Registration Form
  8. Registration fee, per family: $300
