3K/PKA Registration 

 

The Pre-K application period for the 2023-2024 school year will be on Wednesday, January 25th This means children born in 2019 are eligible for pre-K for the fall, and those born in 2020 will be eligible for 3-K.   If you  have any friends or family that are interested in applying, please have them contact us as there is limited seats.

 

You can apply for Pre-K For All at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Academy by visiting the website at: https://www.myschools.nyc/en/

 

Our code is QADQ. Please indicate if your child is a returning student or has a sibling in the school. 

 

The office staff is more than happy to assist you in filling out an application. Please call us at 718-793-2086 to schedule a time that is convenient for you. OLMCA’s Math Bee

 

Last week, Ms. Feeley and Mrs. Beadle conducted our annual Math Bee. I am pleased to tell you that after fifteen grueling rounds, Angelina Pustovoytov (7W) represented our school at the Diocesan Math Bee. Best of luck to both students! Congratulations to Maximilian Lanzarone (Grade 7H) for coming in as our runner-up and alternate.

All the students worked so hard preparing for the Math Bee and we are so impressed with their skills and confidence! 

 

 

 

International Night 

 

The Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Academy will be hosting an International Night on Saturday, January 28 from 8 to 11PM in the Parish Hall. Homemade food, desserts, wine and entertainment from many cultures will be featured. Cost is $35 per person in advance and $45 per person walk-ins.

 

As part of the Community Outreach series, we would like to offer childcare to those parents who would like to support our school by attending the International Night Event  on January 28th.
