OLMCA Family Masses

Our Lady of Mercy holds Family Masses on the first Sunday of each month to celebrate our faith in community. Hospitality will follow in the parish hall after mass for the grade level. Each month will be hosted by a different grade of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Academy and our Religious Education Program. All faiths are welcome. 

Our next Family Mass will be on Sunday, February 4th at 10:30am. Our 2^nd and 4^th Graders will be hosting!

3K/PKA Registration 

The Pre-K application period for the 2024-2025 school year is open. This means children born in 2020 are eligible for pre-K for the fall, and those born in 2021 will be eligible for 3-K.   If you have any friends or family that are interested in applying, please have them contact us as there are limited seats.

Our code is QADQ. Please indicate if your child is a returning student or has a sibling in the school.

Save the Date: State of the Academy

There will be a State of the Academy on Thursday, February 8th at 7:00p.m. in the school gym. During this meeting, you will have an opportunity to meet members of the Board of Trustees.  You will hear an informative presentation about current happenings and our plan for continuous improvement. 

Re-registration 

Priority registration for current students and their relatives began on Wednesday, January 17^th.  Families must be current on this year’s tuition to register for next year. It is imperative that you return the form with the fee as soon as possible to ensure that your child has a seat for the 2024-2025 school year. All re-registration documents must be submitted as soon as possible. If you need an additional form, please contact Ms. Hinkson at [email protected].

Financial Aid

Financial aid applications for students in Grades K-8, who attend a Brooklyn or Queens School or Academy has begun. Once you have registered for next year, you can apply online for a Diocesan scholarship. Families who apply during the first round are the only ones eligible for the maximum scholarship. Scholarship Deadlines

• March 31, 2024- Returning Families who received an award in the previous academic year
• April 30, 2024- New Families (students who did not receive an award in previous academic year)

This Valentine’s Day, make someone’s heart pop! Send your favorite OLMCA student and faculty a sweet treat this Valentine’s Day. Complete the form that was sent home by Monda, February 12^th. All proceeds will go toward graduation expenses for our fantastic eighth grade class!
