OLM WINTER BLOOD DRIVE RESULTS

An excellent start to our 2024 Blood Drives.   The New York Blood Center would like to thank the 88 donors (parishioners and neighbors) who gave up their time last Sunday to help others. The Blood Center was able to collect 74 units of whole blood and 7 double red blood donations during the drive. A total of 88 units of blood and 264 lives helped.   A special thanks goes to Sandy, our parish secretary, who arranged and showcased the announcements; Tony, our sacristan, who needed to arrive extra early to open up the parish hall for the equipment arrival and then returned late afternoon to lock up the parish hall; Arthur Boduroglu who volunteered to help out during the blood drive; our custodial staff who cleared the hall and placed out the required tables and chairs; and Fr. Frank who graciously allows the NYBC the use of OLM's parish hall.   Mark your calendars, the OLM Spring Blood Drive is scheduled for 12 May 2024 (Mother's Day).   Thank you so much!
