Race for Education

We’re thrilled to share that this year’s Race for Education raised an incredible $18,000! Your generosity will have a lasting impact as we continue enhancing our student enrichment programs and upgrading our school’s technology.

It was heartwarming to see so many students walking, jogging, and running and just as inspiring to see the outpouring of support from our amazing OLMCA community. From dedicated parent volunteers and generous sponsors to our hardworking faculty and staff, this event truly reflected the spirit of teamwork.

Special thanks go to the parents who supervised the course, punched laps, served food, and cheered on our students. Thank you to Ms. Paz and Mr. Ventura preparing a delicious barbecue! And a heartfelt thank-you to Mrs. Paula Deist and Mrs. Venus Velez-Santiago, who devoted countless hours behind the scenes to ensure the event’s success from counting laps to cheering the students on, they made it a spectacular day for all.

Because of all of you, this year’s race was unforgettable. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Volunteers for 2026-2027

It was such a great year for events this year due to the HAA’s hard work. For the safety of each child in our school, all volunteers must have Virtus Training. You may register at virtusonline.org. After completing the VIRTUS Program we ask that you please bring to the office a copy of your certificate for us to keep track of in our database. We hope to schedule a Virtus session in September. More information to follow.
