Stages on the Sound is Back!

(Grades 4,6,8)

I am very excited to announce that Stages on the Sound has returned to OLMCA this week. Students in Grades 4,6,& 8 will engage in theatrical exercises throughout the program that teach and analyze dramatic structure and parts of a story. Their other classes’ reading materials become source material for the productions they stage. By focusing on close-reading, details, and their own inventiveness and creativity students bring their personalities and interests to their productions and the STAGES’ dramatic play curriculum which culminates in live performance in December.

Home Academy Association (HAA)

Thank you for your AMAZING support and huge turnout during OLMCA’s 1st HAA meeting of the year. The HAA kicked off the weekend with an Italian ice fundraiser at Richie’s. All proceeds will go to funding future community events for our students and families. Our next meeting is Thursday, October 19th at 7pm.

At Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Academy we want parents to get involved in the lives of our school and community. This meeting will explain the function of the HAA and how parents can get involved. This platform gives families the opportunity to join in making OLMCA the best it can be. We value your input and need your help to achieve all of our goals! Without you we cannot do it. If you have any questions, please contact the HAA Executive Board at [email protected]
