We have an exciting year ahead of us filled with singing, playing, listening to and creating some awesome music!

Thursday, 9/5

4th and 6th Grades: Listen to the following three songs. We will be acting as song leaders at tomorrow’s Mass from our pews.

Schedule

Preparedness*

Students are expected to be on time to class on their scheduled days with the following materials:

1st through 4th Grades

  • a folder
  • the pencil case used for homeroom

5th through 8th Grades

  • the pencil case used for homeroom

5th through 8th Grades are provided with binders that remain in the music classroom.

Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten students need not bring any materials at this time.

*Preparedness is expected and is considered in the process of grading your child. For students in Grades 5 – 8, being unprepared may warrant an infraction.

Grading

In Grades 1 – 8, your child’s grade in Music is determined by their:

  • Participation
  • Preparedness
  • Ability to utilize classroom materials correctly/responsibly
  • Performance on quizzes/tests (Grades 3 – 8)
  • Progress
