Pre-K 4’s Specials Schedule

Monday: Technology 9:00-9:30

Tuesday: Library 10:15-10:45

Wednesday: Music 10:15-10:45

(Children must wear sneakers to school on gym days) 

Thursday: Art 10:45-11:15 

Friday: Gym 9:35-10:05

Reminders for October:

October 4: Daddy Drop off! Pretzel money due.

October 9: Pretzel Day

October 11: Pizza money due.

October 14: Columbus Day. No school.

October 16: Pizza Day.

October 17: Pretzel money due. 

October 18: $2.00 dress down for Breast Cancer Awareness. Please have your child wear pink to school.

October 22: Picture Day. Individual photos. Please have your child dress up for photos. 

October 23: Pretzel Day.

October 24: Halloween pizza money due.

October 29: Group Picture Day. Please have your child wear his/her uniform for our group picture. 

October 30: Professional Day for Pre-K. No school for Pre-K students. 

October 31st: Halloween! Pizza day-School Parade-Class Party

          Our next unit is “My Five Senses”. We will discuss how our senses help us to explore, investigate, and understand the world around us. We will spend time talking about and exploring all five senses. We will use our senses to learn about the season of fall. Some activities we will be doing are apple taste tests, nature walks, and making our own play dough!

September 3: Back to School Night at 6:30 p.m.

September 5: First day for Pre-K from 8:30-10:30. 

September 6: Pre-K from 8:30-10:30.

September 9: First full day of school (8:30-2:50). Extended Care begins.

September 20: Pizza money due.

September 25: Pizza Day. 

Our first unit of the year is “All about Me”. We will start this unit the second week of school.

             Every child is special and unique in their own way! This unit will help us to share about ourselves while also exploring and learning about each other. In the month of September we will also be getting to know our school, classroom, and classroom routines. Children will have fun exploring our classroom and all of the toys and learning materials that it offers. Children will get accustomed to their new classroom and the routines that are in place.

Welcome to Pre-K 4’s class page! Here you will find important reminders, dates, and information about our current unit/theme. I am so excited to be your child’s Pre-K teacher and ready for a fun and exciting year! 

Some important reminders as we start our school year: 

  • Please send in all forms that were included in your child’s folder on back-to-school night.
  • Please send in 10 pictures of your child for future projects.
  • Please send in a spare change of clothes in a clearly labeled Ziploc bag. 
  • Please label anything that belongs to your child (sweaters, schoolbags, water bottles, etc.) 

School starts at 8:30 a.m.

 School starts at 8:00 a.m. for children who are participating in the optional religion class.If you would like your child to  participate in the optional religion class, please make sure to fill out the form and send in payment. 

School dismisses at 2:50 p.m. every day.
