OLMCA Gives Back

Our students in grades 6-8 will be attending a Catholic Junior High School Rally at St. Rose of Lima Church in Rockaway on January, 16, 2018. As part of the day, students will hear a keynote presentation from Ryan Tremblay, attend Mass, and engage in different activities related to their spiritual development as young Catholics in the 21st century.

As part of the day, the Diocese is asking that that our young people bring donations for the Midnight Run Program, a program that helps feed and clothe the homeless in New York City. Our school has been asked to bring handwarmers or gloves for men. Every little bit helps and we thank you for supporting this wonderful organization. A separate notice will also be sent home as a reminder.

Home Academy Association

This is a friendly reminder that there is a Home Academy Association meeting on Thursday, January 11 from 6:30-7:30 in the school gymnasium. Please enter through the side door. All parents are welcome to attend. We hope to plan fun and exciting events for our students in the coming months.

 Re-registration for 2018-19

Priority registration for current students and their relatives will begin after we return on Tuesday, January 16. Families must be current on this year’s tuition to register for next year. It is imperative that you return the form as soon as possible to ensure that your child has a seat for the 2018-19 school year.  Please be sure to send in your re-registration form as soon as possible so that we can guarantee you a seat.
