Terra Nova Testing

Terra Nova testing will begin on Tuesday, October 10 for our 3rd through 8th graders. Students have already begun taking their practice exams. We ask that all students make every effort to be at school daily and on time during this testing period. We also encourage all of our students to do their very best!

During this time, expect lighter homework and classroom exams. Some helpful testing tips and strategies include: getting a good nights sleep, having a healthy breakfast, bringing your sharpened pencils, and having a positive attitude! We expect to receive the results in early December. The teachers will share the reports with you at our first report card conference in December.

50th Anniversary Gala

There are still tickets available for our Golden Anniversary! We will honor the $100 ticket price for our current families. Please get your tickets NOW either by paying on-line at https://olmercyca.org/olmca-50th-anniversary-gala/ or send payment directly to the school.

We are also happy to inform you that our Special Honoree at the Gala is Sister Francis Rose, the last religious sister to teach at Our Lady of Mercy. She taught for 45 years and spent 27 of those years at OLM when she started in 1986. Sister Frannie, as she was affectionately known, most likely had the longest tenure of any teacher. Initially, she taught Pre-K and then moved to Kindergarten. Sister left just as the school was becoming an Academy. We are so excited to welcome her back to Forest Hills!
